Follow these following steps and attached figures to connect to the internet manually using a Samsung Galaxy. Despite this for being a Samsung Galaxy, other Android phones will look different but will feature similar steps.

1. First you will need to access the Wi-Fi tab in your device settings under connections, tap the Wi-Fi option. Alternatively you can hold down the WI-FI symbol, and in the drop down menu tap on details.

2. Then when at the WI-FI options you will select Add network 



3. next you will enter the Network name as csu-net and change the security from WPA/WPA2-Personal to WPA/WPA2-Enterprise, once you change that three new options will appear.

For Identity you will enter your NetID username and for Password you will enter your NetID password. 

4. For the CA certificate you will select use system certificates and then for the domain you will enter colostate.edu. 

      For the hidden network option you can leave it off or on.

5.Before you click save you will select the view more Option under hidden network



6. Below is a summary of potential additional configurations settings your phone may also ask:

    For EAP method it needs to be: PEAP

    For Minimum TLS version it should be: TLS v1.0

    For Online certificate status it should be: Don't Validate

    For Phase 2 authentication it should be: MSCHAPV2

    For Anonymous Identity: leave it blank.

    For IP settings it should be: DHCP

    For proxy select: None 

    For Metered network it should be: Detect automatically

    For MAC address it can be either Randomized MAC or Phone mac

 7. Now it should say connect where it says save, select connect and you should start connecting to the csu-net.
