CSU started using Duo two factor authentication (2FA) in front of all Microsoft 365 services on June 1, 2021 for all people who signed up for Duo before the June 1st "go live" date. The goal is to help reduce security risks due to compromised eID accounts.
For those who have signed up for Duo: If you are having issues getting signed into Duo, receiving push notifications, or are experiencing other issues, we encourage you to check out CSU's Duo website (http://duo.colostate.edu) for assistance. They have put together videos, FAQs, and step-by-step guides on getting set up and troubleshooting issues.
For those who have NOT signed up for Duo: Duo 2FA will become mandatory for everyone (students, staff, faculty, etc) on campus in the upcoming Fall semester. The "go live" date is October 4th. You can sign up for Duo starting from now until the mandatory "go live" date for all this Fall semester. Please consult CSU's Duo website (http://duo.colostate.edu) for assistance, guides, and walk-through videos.
Please note that Duo is a CSU-wide system, so we are using CSU's Duo website (http://duo.colostate.edu) as our single point of reference and information regarding all things Duo. As Duo relies on an individual's eID, HDS Tech Services has limited insight into the system and therefore also has limited ability to provide support. We encourage you to consult CSU's Duo website (http://duo.colostate.edu) for information and troubleshooting.
If you are still having issues with Duo, feel free to contact the HDS Tech Services help desk for support.
